FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
Your photos are special, and I am committed to delivering the best photos that encapsulate your day, family, or session without a limit.
Typically, for an 8 hour wedding, you will receive anywhere from 500-1000 photos.
Engagement Sessions, around 60-75.
Family Sessions and Others will vary but I guarantee a minimum of 20 Images for shorter sessions.
How long until I get my pictures back?
For Weddings, typically around 4-8 weeks with a preview of the wedding day within 48 hours.
Family, Engagement, and Newborn Sessions around 2-3 weeks.
All of your images are delivered in a private online gallery with full-resolution downloads.
Do You Offer Custom Wedding Packages?
The packages I offer were curated to help avoid the inevitable decision-fatigue that comes with planning a wedding, but if you are looking for something more affordable, minimal, or more involved, I would be happy to customize a package for you!
Do You Offer Wedding Albums?
You will have the option to design and create your own album through the Pixieset Gallery Store.
I am currently exploring a way to design and include wedding albums as part of a package, so let me know if that is something you are interested in!
How Do I Prepare my Kids for a Family Session?
I love the whimsy, chaos, and magic of kids! My biggest advice is to take off the pressure to get those "Picture perfect" portraits and lean into the moment and season that you're in!
Pick a session time where your kids are generally in a happy mood (even if they're a little wild), give them options for outfits and involve them in the getting ready process so that they have a sense of control, and have fun with them! I don't mind spending some extra time waiting for your kiddos to get their wiggles out or explore a little, and usually some of the best photos happen in those moments!
Do you travel outside of North GA for weddings?
I am in Acworth, near Atlanta, and will travel anywhere up to 1.5 hours for no additional travel fees.
I am happy to travel outside of Georgia, please send me your location and I can send more detailed travel pricing information.
What should I wear to my session?
I always suggest that you wear WHATEVER you feel your best in, but if you're looking for artistic direction, I recommend steering clear of bright primary colors and going for neutral, muted-tones, and pastels.
For families, focus on complementing patterns and colors over perfectly matching.
For Kiddos, my personal philosophy is that you want to remember them how they are, so if they are particular about a specific outfit, so long as it's appropriate, I say let them wear it!
How do I book? What are the next steps?
The best way to book is to fill out the contact form, you will hear from me within 24 hours (usually sooner).
After finalizing your package choice or session type, I will send a proposal with a contract and invoice, once your deposit is paid (30% of total) and your contract is signed, your date will be officially booked and you can do a happy dance!
What is your style of posing/directing for photos?
My style is a combination of editorial and documentary, so I will capture moments as they happen authentically, but I will also do some action-based prompting and posing to capture those gorgeous and timeless editorial shots.
For Weddings, that may look like me placing you in the most flattering light before getting in your dress. I try to be as minimally invasive as possible, but If I can tell that you are uncomfortable, I will provide some gentle direction.
